George Martin Moore

Vice President - Non-Aeronautical Revenues

When George Martin Moore joined BAC in 2015 to merely manage the concession tendering for the new terminal, little did he know that three years down the line he would be playing a pivotal role in restructuring all of BAC’s non-aeronautical revenues as VP. Today, he is not only responsible for the commercial tendering of the airport’s new terminal but also daily management and development of the company’s concession business like real estate, car parks, duty free, retail and advertising. This includes tendering processes for advertising, retail, F&B, and staff, among others.

While his past experience at the retail division of Dublin Airport makes him believe things in Bahrain take a bit longer than the West, he is constantly inspired by how everyone does their best. BAC is like family to him and he takes pride in the fact that the tendering business has successfully managed legacy issues and enabled the company and its operators to work like partners and forge fruitful relationships. With 35 years of invaluable aviation and diverse business experiences under his belt, George believes the most exciting part of his job is to bring new value-adding businesses to the airport. In fact, he and his team have gone the extra mile to attract the world’s leading operators to the region for the first time.

A man of few words but plenty of determination, George prefers staying away from the spotlight, reveres honesty and loves to keep things short and sweet. When he isn’t planning the next innovation at BAC, you will find him playing a few rounds of golf at Riffa or chatting with his two daughters.
