In a statement the Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs Capt. Abdulrahman Al Gaoud, stated that this new airline further strengthens our international network and offers more choice to passengers traveling through Bahrain International Airport.
He added that this would not have been possible without the vision and direction of H.E. Shaikh Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, which has encouraged many new airlines to commence or increase their services to the Kingdom.
He also added, This new operation has put Bahrain in a prominent position on the world aviation map and enhances the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
Kuwait/Bahrain flights are conveniently timed for connections at Washington Dulles, United’s principal transatlantic gateway, to and from dozens of cities throughout the Americas. United offers more than 275 daily departures from Washington Dulles to more than 90 cities.
Commenting on the new route, Marcel Fuchs, United Managing Director for Europe, Africa the Middle East and India, said:. “This new destination further strengthens our international route network and extends the United footprint in the Middle East. Our network options in the United States, combined with the first rate service we offer on board, provide a winning combination for travelers from Bahrain and other parts of the region.”
