The spreading of ash clouds as a result of volcanic activity in Iceland has resulted in the closure of the majority of European airspace and hence several flights have been cancelled or delayed. Bahrain International Airport Passes Quality Assurance Audit
Bahrain International Airport once again underlined its commitment to excellence and operating to the highest quality standards by successfully qualifying in the annual audit assessment conducted by international quality assurance company, Lloyd’s, ensuring that the Airport continues to run according to the specified standards that saw it awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certificate two years ago.
Mr. Kamal Ahmed, Chairman of Bahrain Airport Company stated that the audit assessment was successfully completed with full compliance, proving the excellent level of service and dedication that Bahrain International Airport staff offer. “We always emphasize the proficiency of our Bahraini workforce at the Airport, who are the main driving force behind us winning this accreditation,” Mr. Ahmed said.
